AMP Media Futures Foundation serves as a bridge between young people’s current circumstances and the dreams they envision. As we face a world where 80% of U.S. jobs now require digital literacy, and 65% demand proficiency in specific software and tools (Pew Research Center, 2021), it’s crucial that we equip students with the professional-grade resources they need to succeed. Unfortunately, many students, particularly those from underfunded educational backgrounds, lack access to the high-quality cameras, microphones, lighting packs, and audio-video editing software essential for hands-on learning in media production and communication.

This skills gap can prevent students from achieving their full potential and entering the workforce with the expertise they need. AMP is committed to closing that gap by providing students—especially those with disabilities and neurodivergence—access to the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to excel. Through our work, we empower individuals to grow, learn, and thrive in media production, opening doors to a brighter future and stronger communities.
